This blog started when I realized my need of quiet solitude amid a busy world. After spending time studying ministry and the humanities at an undergraduate university, it occurred to me that life lived at the pace I was going was too fast and loud. There are too many distractions to live intentionally and well.
And so, I stopped. And within this new silent space, I found that I could reflect again, both for my own sake and the sake of anyone who happened across it in their own time.
This is a blog on life, faith, doubt, truth, hope, and love. It’s a blog of a journeyman pastor-theologian trying out ideas for the first time and seeing how they fit. And, it’s a space where I hope you can, too.
Solitude is not something you must hope for in the future. Rather, it is a deepening of the present, and unless you look for it in the present you will never find it.
